What is the Atlas Hot and Cold Plate?

The Atlas Vial Baths are a new way of heating or cooling several reaction vials at the same time.
Designed to fit on standard hotplate stirrers, these Vial Baths provide good thermal contact to the
vial and therefore excellent temperature control within the reaction. Each of the Vial Bath
inserts is interchangeable within the Dry Bath Base making changing vial size quick and easy.
The exterior of the Dry Bath remains safe to touch even when the Vial Bath is hot or cold.

¡Ü Wide range of volumes available: 6 x large
     diameter vials (40ml or 20ml), 8 x medium diameter thick      wall pressurised vials (2, 3 or 5ml) or 12 x small      diameter vials (8ml).
¡Ü Interchangeable design: One Atlas Dry Bath base      can be used for all three Vial Bath sizes or round      bottom flask inserts.
¡Ü High and low temperature: Can safely operate up      to 280¡ÆC and down to -80¡ÆC.
¡Ü Safety shield: Chemist is protected from the heat by      safety shield. In an emergency the dry bath can be      picked up and moved.
¡Ü Rapid cooling: Safety shield sets up a natural      convection airflow allowing the reaction to be cooled      quickly for rapid work-up and purification.
¡Ü Sleek design: Reduces the mass of the block to be      heated, improving heat-up times.
¡Ü Robust: Specifically designed for use in chemical
     laboratories.
¡Ü Deep Wells: Maximised heated surface area to      improve heatup time and minimise the difference      between the block and reaction temperature.
¡Ü Each bath has a probe hole: Position temperature      probe in close contact with the reactors.
¡Ü Fits all leading brands of hotplate: Syrris Atlas,      IKA etc (fitshotplate diameter of 13.5 cm, 5 5/16¡±).
¡Ü Pressurised reactions supported: Wheaton V      vials can be used in the medium vial bath enabling      overpressurisation.
